The Artisan specializes in the art of tooling and weaving fabrics, clothes, and leather goods.

They have a deep understanding of various materials, such as different types of fibers, yarns, fabrics, leathers and techniques, such as spinning, dyeing, cutting, and sewing. They are able to create a wide variety of clothing, armor, bags, footwear, and other leather goods.  They also have knowledge of different cultural styles and techniques, and be able to create clothing and leather goods that reflect different cultures and historical periods.  They are also skilled in identifying and gathering rare ingredients.

You need tools in order to work.  The level of tools allows them to work on more delicate materials.  The higher the level of tool the more delicate and higher level material the blacksmith can work on.

You can spend time in order to search for specific material he is looking for, or just randomly search and see what they can find.

D20 + Artisan Bonus + Perception Modifier

An artisans material gathering checks is skinning and gathering specific materials listed in the item’s blueprints.  They have the knowledge to skin by leather and cloth goods.  As well as the gather each of the specific materials needed.

Once they find the materials or the spot they want to gather from, they need to spend an allotted amount of time in order to gather the material perfectly.  This requires dexterity use a skinning knife or shears.

An artisan has an easier time skinning higher versions of the material based on their level. Gaining the ability to gather different versions of the materials easier at certain levels.

An artisan has the knowledge to tan his own leather and finish his own cloth.  An artisan needs to spend time in order to tan/finish the specific leather/cloth he wants.

Certain leather and cloth might provide special properties added to the goods.  An artisan gains the ability to tan/finish different types of materials at certain levels.

An artisan can tool/weave certain items per level.  Gaining the ability to tool/weave different types of items at certain levels.

ADD SPECIAL PROPERTY X

An artisan has the knowledge to add additional properties to certain items.  These do not add extra rolls to the check but may add time, difficulty, or material to the current build.

An artisan gains new properties at certain levels.

QUICK SUTURE X

An artisan has the knowledge to use the finishing methods of crafting items.  A number of times per day, equal to his Artisan Bonus, he can sew up wounds healing himself or others based on the level of Quick Suture.

This process is a bonus action to complete.

OILY MESS X

An artisan has the knowledge to use his various oils for tanning very well .  A number of times per day, equal to his Artisan Bonus, he must choose either a sticky oil or a slippery oil.  Then he must choose to target himself, another person, or terrain.

This process is a bonus action to complete.

Based on what was chosen the following happens based on the level of Oily Mess.

STICKY ON HIMSELF BONUS
Allows player to stick to surfaces, and grapple easier. Gives players a +5 to climbing, or +5 to grapple checks to grapple another.
SLIPPERY ON HIMSELF BONUS
Allows the player to become more slippery, making it harder to be grappled. Makes person difficult to grapple, gives a +5 to opposing roll to not be grappled.
STICKY ON ANOTHER PERSON BONUS
Forces target to become sticky, allowing him to stick to objects. Adds -5 to to contested roll to remove them from an object.
SLIPPERY ON ANOTHER PERSON BONUS
Targets main hand becomes slippery, making it difficult to hold on to objects. Adds -5 to to contested roll to hold onto objects in main hand
STICKY ON TERRAIN BONUS
Acts as casting the spell web on the ground, with the range/area 5ft circle around Artisan or 15 ft line in either direction. Acts as casting the spell web on the ground, with the range/area 5ft circle around Artisan or 15 ft line in either direction.
SLIPPERY ON TERRAIN BONUS
Acts as casting the spell grease on themselves, with the range/area 5ft circle around Artisan or 15 ft line in either direction. Acts as casting the spell grease on themselves, with the range/area 5ft circle around Artisan or 15 ft line in either direction.
