Resurrection Challenge

While attempting to resurrect a character:

• Base DC = 8
• If the time limit has been passed, the DC increases by +1 per increment.
• The spell cast further modifies the DC, may require a body, and has a listed minimum cost.
• The cost noted is a minimum plus materials; the DM may demand extra “payment” through divine bargains, quests, or sacrifices.

Example: A character has died twice now, the DC is 14 instead of 10.

Example: A cleric can pray to its god for help in the matter, Religion Check.

Example: A player gets down on its knees and begs the spirit to come back to the body, Persuasion Check.

Example: Sorcerer casts lightening into the body like an arcane defibrillator, Spell Check.
